Ancient, Free & Accepted Masons
in the Province of Ontario
Personal Image Personal image is portrayed by our deeds and actions as well as our body language and tone of voice. As Freemasons we must project an image that is acceptable and appealing; one that reinforces the fraternal nature of Freemasonry.
Have self-respect and pride in oneself, our brothers and our families.
Practise discreetness, courtesy, punctuality, dependability and reliability.
Get involved. If you have talent or skill to be a leader - then lead. If you have the ability to be a team player - then join the team. If you are a follower - remember to show up and applaud.
Consider that most of our membership is the invisible silent majority. All our brethren are manifestly equal and in their own way bring something to the Craft.
The future of Masonry is shaped by people who believe in the future, and have vision.
Masonry must have sincerity of purpose and a grasp of the pressures that today's lifestyles place on a man.
Masonry should be one of accomplishment and respect rather than one of political and social acceptance and advancement.
Sometimes you must see what you are not, before you can see what you are.
"Making good men better" is greatly misunderstood. Our purpose, our job, our way of life should be to make all men better. We all have this potential.
A Mason should remember that society can be a severe panel of judges.
Your personal image is a continual work in progress through the teachings of the Ritual and the Volume of the Sacred Law.
